SWIMMERWATER POLO PLAYER
I am a GB female swimmerI am a GB female water polo player
I train at the high performance centre in LoughboroughI train at the high performance centre in Manchester
I train twice a day Monday to Friday with a couple of weights sessions as wellI train twice a day Monday to Friday with a couple of weights sessions as well
I swim 7 events a yearI have no idea how many events I will do in a year but at a major tournament I play 7 matches in a week
I have made some international semi finals so I’m ranking 9th – 16th in my eventThe GB Junior team is ranked 7th in Europe and the seniors 9th
I get £33,000 a year from British swimming, I don’t need to work and live very comfortablyI get £3,600 a year from British swimming, I’d love to work but can’t get a job because of my training hours, I struggle every day
